Lock In A Student’s Future School Lockers are the Perfect Canvas
Local artists create mural on school lockers reflecting program’s values
Do you remember the combination to your school locker? Even though high school is behind us, you’re never too old to have your own school locker – at least in honorarium.
Through the Lock in a Student’s Future campaign, Street School is commemorating lockers to donors. We paint lockers in need of a face-lift into works of art. This year, students from OSU – Okmulgee donated their talent by painting the mural you see in this picture. The mural conveys a positive and inspiring image that reflects important Street School values. As you walk the hallways, you are reminded by the billboard like image of what the Street School program is all about.
Our lockers hold the dreams of a high school diploma and a positive future made possible because of a second chance in our alternative program.
