On November 1, 2004 in Orlando, Florida, Street School was recognized nationally by the National Dropout Prevention Network with the Crystal Star of Excellence Award 2004 as the one school chosen for excellence in dropout prevention. This is a tremendous accomplishment when you consider the number of alternative programs in the country.
